Hillary Clinton 's Smear Campaign, Flip-Flop and New Polls

Tue Mar 04, 2008 at 07:34:50 AM PDT

According to the AP report and MSNBC  the language in the memo is Canadian TV report and it’s not a direct quote. Also  Hillary Clinton camp urged the Canadian TV to ignore the Obama’s anti NAFTA  rhetoric  and focus on the negative things about obama. As usual this is the way Hillary Clinton has been smearing against obama’s position on NAFTA and everything else . First she planted the question in Iowa. Then she Flip-Flopped on NAFTA while Bill Clinton Flip-Flopped on Iraq War.

A Buddhist Holy Man predicts that Hillary will never become US President

Mon Mar 03, 2008 at 05:24:38 PM PDT

A Buddhist Holy Man predicts that Hillary will never become US President . Therefore whoever is against Hillary Clinton can start celebrating from now on wards. Tell your friends , neighbors and organize parties and festivals , anything can make you happy America. All anti war , anti Hillary activists and whoever supports Obama , Edwards, and other candidates start organizing parties all over the country and around the world. This monk seems to guarantee 10000% , who made many predictions in the past and which became real in the past many many times.

Hillary Clinton 's Smear Campaign and Obama 's Response

Sun Mar 02, 2008 at 05:38:38 AM PDT

Young Hispanics in Texas and all over the country are very open minded people who judge their candidates based on their behavior, honesty  and ethics and moral values who is for change in America. Hispanics in Texas don’t have any bad or negative feelings against Blacks in America beside Hillary supporter’s smear campaign. Hispanics and Blacks in America get along with each other fine , mingle around with each other  , dating each other , going out together and getting married to each other without any problem. The Hillary Clintons supporters are the one starting this smear campaign between the Hispanics and the Blacks, which  is poisonous for our country and for our democracy just like Bill Clinton played the race card in the past.

In desperation Hillary Clinton Goes Negative against Obama

Sat Mar 01, 2008 at 09:16:08 AM PDT

In desperation Hillary Clinton goes negative against Obama. In the past hillary Clinton and her loving husband Bill Clinton played race card while she played gender card. In the past  Blacks in America used to call Bill Clinton as a Black President, now they consider him as their enemy because of his negative , racial remarks about Obama . In order to get support from the southern democrats Bill Clinton played race card after the New Hampshire primary. However it back fired at him . The same thing will happen in Texas and Ohio, where there many moderate democrats and Independents don’t put up with this sort of  nonsense anymore.

Hillary Clinton Flip-Flopped on NAFTA and Bill Clinton Flip-Flopped on Iraq War

Fri Feb 29, 2008 at 04:16:54 AM PDT

Bill Clinton supported , Introduced and signed NAFTA into a law.
Hillary Clinton supported the NAFTA in 2004 and in 1996. Then Hillary Clinton goes after Obama for putting out the Flyers and accused him as a liar  saying "Shame on you Obama"  . Why are you Hillary lying to America and to your own democrats , who helped you and your husband Bill Clinton to get elected. This is not a courtroom to spin around and deceive the American people and not telling the Truth about  your self . You are dealing with real human beings, who are not politicians like you to get manipulated every single minute the way you wanted and distort the truth . First you and your husband Bill played race card , then played gender card.  Nothing worked so far.

Hillary Clinton Supported NAFTA in 1996 and 2004 on Video

Thu Feb 28, 2008 at 01:13:42 AM PDT

Hillary Clinton supported the NAFTA in 2004 and in 1996. During Clinton's 1996 visit to Texas, United Press International reported that she "touted the president's support for NAFTA." In her memoir, Clinton trumpeted her husband's "successes on the budget, the Brady bill and NAFTA." The Buffalo News reports that in 1998 she "praised corporations for mounting 'a very effective business effort in the U.S. on behalf of NAFTA.' " And last year, her lead Wall Street fundraiser told reporters that Clinton remains "committed" to NAFTA's "free" trade structure.

DeLay acknowledges failure to report legal fund donations

Thu Oct 27, 2005 at 06:23:25 AM PDT

Rep. Tom DeLay failed to comply with House requirements that he disclose all contributions to a defense fund that pays his legal bills, the Texas Republican acknowledged to House officials.

He wrote officials that $20,850 contributed in 2000 and 2001 was not reported anywhere. Another $17,300 was included in the defense fund's quarterly report but not in DeLay's 2000 annual financial disclosure report -- a separate requirement.

Other donations were understated as totaling $2,800, when the figure should have been $4,450.

It was during that period that DeLay was the subject of several House ethics investigations.

Hispanic Audience Questions Schwarzenegger

Wed Oct 26, 2005 at 12:07:03 PM PDT

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger told a group of Spanish-speaking voters he opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants and defended his veto of a bill that would have granted driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.

The governor, who has sometimes angered Hispanic interest groups with his comments on illegal immigration, said an amnesty program similar to the one the federal government undertook in the late 1980s would be ill-advised today.

"It just didn't work," Schwarzenegger said Tuesday. "It backfired big-time. It sent the wrong message: You come here illegally, and then we go and give you amnesty. So then, the next million come and they say, 'Hey, we get amnesty, this is really terrific.'"

Al Gore on Global Warming at University of Michigan

Tue Oct 25, 2005 at 10:31:53 AM PDT

Former vice president says there is no controversy over whether recent warming has been caused by mankind

Global warming is no longer a scientific issue, but a moral issue that mankind must confront now or face devastating consequences, former Vice President Al Gore said last night.

Gore compared the dangers of climate change with Nazi Germany's threat to Europe in the 1930s, likening those who ignore the threat of global warming to former British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, who attempted to stay Adolf Hitler's aggression by appeasing his territorial ambitions. Quoting Winston Churchill, he said procrastination is no longer viable and that humanity is entering a "period of consequences."

For Dems, Opportunity Knocks

Mon Oct 24, 2005 at 05:31:06 PM PDT

With the President facing his lowest approval ratings, the Dems prepare to roll out plans for 2006

An investigation that has mystified and captivated Washington for almost two years is scheduled to end this week, with the possibility of indictments of top Bush administration officials. The term for the grand jury investigating the CIA leak case expires on Friday, so Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald is expected to bring charges in the next few days.

Speculation has centered on I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, the Vice President's chief of staff, and Karl Rove, President Bush's top political adviser. Republican Senator George Allen of Virginia said on NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday that he expected administration officials who were indicted would resign, and he thought that would be "appropriate."

NH primary run by state, not DNC

Sun Oct 23, 2005 at 07:23:01 AM PDT

Two influential national Democrats say a party commission has not reached consensus on where the New Hampshire primary would fit into a redesigned Presidential nominating schedule in 2008.

Donna Brazile and Don Fowler said Friday the majority of the Democratic National Committee's 40-member Commission on Presidential Nomination Timing and Scheduling supports allowing as many as four states to share the early Presidential primary-caucus spotlight with New Hampshire and Iowa.

Al Gore called for reform of tenure systems that protect teachers

Thu Oct 20, 2005 at 06:43:27 AM PDT

California's children deserve the best education. Teachers are the key. Entitled "Put the Kids First," Proposition 74 focuses on a simple question. Should a school board be able to more easily replace a teacher with a track record of poor performance?

Republicans and Democrats say yes. Both John Kerry and Al Gore called for reform of tenure systems that protect teachers at the students' expense. Addressing the Michigan Teachers Association in 2000, Gore argued for higher standards for teacher tenure, saying that school districts should act quickly to remove ineffective teachers from the classroom within the context of due process protections.

Charleston native keeps Al Gore's `Current' on new independent network

Wed Oct 19, 2005 at 05:28:56 AM PDT

When 24-year-old Charleston native Conor Knighton first heard about Current, an independent news network for the 18- to 34-year-old audience, he knew he wanted to be a part of it. Already in Los Angeles pursuing an acting career, the 1999 George Washington High School and 2003 Yale University graduate discovered the channel during an audition for a completely separate project.

"I was fascinated by the idea," he said in a telephone interview. "Basically, I heard about them before they heard about me. Then about a month later, an audition popped up where I was able to go in and talk to folks from the network. I just stayed in touch with them over the next few months because I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of."

Al Gore Rallying around Rather

Tue Oct 18, 2005 at 08:42:40 AM PDT

One year after the credibility of CBS News collapsed
over their use of fake memos against George W. Bush,
lame attempts to rehabilitate CBS seem to be
everywhere.
Dan Rather is now telling anyone who will listen that
after defending the report, then apologizing for it, he
now thinks it's true again. Al Gore is suggesting
Rather was demoted because the all-powerful White
House was angry. At a ceremony for the news and
documentary Emmy awards, ABC's Ted Koppel and
MSNBC boss Rick Kaplan scrambled like the King's
men reassembling Humpty Dumpty. But the eggy
mess remains.

Clinton's wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, joined in the fun by telephone. Former Vice President Al Gore was present in person, along with about 100 of McWherter's Cabinet members, financial supporters and family members.

Draft Mark Warner for President in 2008

Fri Oct 14, 2005 at 11:38:03 PM PDT

Why Mark Warner?

The Democratic Party is at a crossroad. Never in the history of the party has there been a more urgent need for a "New-Centrist" form of leadership.

As one of only five Democratic governors in southern Republican `red' states, Governor Mark Warner has demonstrated that a moderate candidate who speaks to traditional American core values, can win elections and more importantly, can build consensus and govern successfully.

 A Winner:

Governor Warner was elected in 2001 breaking an eight-year Republican reign on state government. At that time, Dr. Dennis Logue Jr., LC assistant professor of political science, said. "He set up the idea that Republicans couldn't govern."

During the 2001 election, voters gave the Republicans a 64-seat majority in the House of Delegates compared to the Democrats 34 seats. Two Independents pledged to caucus with the Republicans."Power-sharing is out the window," Logue said in reference to an agreement both parties had when the House was split more evenly.
